Lubuntu 10.04 !

Buenas ! ayer probé Lubuntu 10.04 y OMFG ! es una masacre !!  piensen que con gnome es rapido (Ubuntu) , ahora .. ponganle este entorno livianismo y rapidisimo ! jojo me quede sorprendido ... espero que les guste :)

Novedades

- Totalmente re-escritro administrador de archivos PCManFM 0.9.5
- Chromium (basado en Google Chrome) como su navegador por defecto
- Nueva selección de aplicaciones: Abiword, ePDFView, Gnumeric, Leafpad, Sylpheed, Xfburn, Xfce4-taskmanager, etc.
-Entre otras! (arranque mas rapido , etc las de ubuntu 10.04)

lubuntu RAM and CPU Requirments

We don't have for now the requierement needed for Lubuntu, because some components are still in developpement.

However, I done some testing on Karmic + LXDE/Lubuntu packages updated from Lucid + some adjustements, and a session start with 50-60 Mo, according to the taskmanager. So in your case, the memory could be a bit short to be confortable.

For the processor, I can't test if it's useable. But It will be a good candidate for testing Lubuntu Lucid, and I will be happy to have your feedback on it.
